I have been contimplating the direction I want this blog to go...
I am a true, blue blog stalker. Especially in areas that I want to improve at (cooking,crafting,church, etc) So I decided to dedicate this blog to all of the awesome ideas that inspire me to be a better me. Check it out.

Celebrating...

...Nine years of marriage to the love of my life.
Kent and I were set up on a blind date by his cousin who was dating my roommate. (They just celebrated their 9th anniversary!) Our first date was the movie "Dinosaurs" and dinner at Dennys. I remember the first time I saw him I thought he was way hot and so out of my league! Five minutes into the movie he leaned over and told me he forgot my name! I was sure that this would be our last date.. but the next day were were on a date again with a group of friends. Nine months later we were married in the Idaho Falls Temple. Now 9 years later, several career changes, 10 plus moves, and most importantly 4 kids I am still in love. The years have not always been easy, but I am glad that we have been in it together!

My little boy... all grown up!

Birthday Girl

Kezalee Turned 6 years old on the 15th.
She is such a sweet girl and we are so happy
that she is in our family.
She LOVES horses.

So this year I attempted to make a birthday cake.
I mean an actual BIRTHDAY cake, not just a cake in a pan with some candles on it.
So she got a purple unicorn.
I love the internet.
I found a tutorial and a YUMMY recipe for butter cream frosting.
What do you think?

We had a party with a few of her cute little friends.
Way fun, WAY exhausting!

New Years EVE

Unfortunately our original plan of going to Utah fell though when Kent and Aly came down with the flu. So new years eve was a quite night at home trying out our new SKOOKIE makers and watching a family favorite...

As you can tell the girls and I had fun building our very own man of the snow!
We have received quite a bid of snow in the last few days. Later we took our kids to planet 51. It is getting harder and harder to go anywhere with 4 small kids, but it was fun to get out.
