Six kids- Seven and under!

Well I finally have surfaced after taking care of Shari's kids for 4 days. A TON of diapers later (it is amazing how many diapers 3 kids use) and lots of snacks later we are still here. We had a great time-but more importantly everyone is alive and well fed!  It just goes to show that it can be done.  It really wasn't that hard, I just learned that taking care of 6 small children FORCES you to have a schedule. I actually got a lot accomplished while they were here.  We even managed a trip to the library with all of us!  I am glad that I was able to help out such a good friend and now  I am looking forward to our weekend away!

When Dave and Shari got back we took all the kids to Red Robin (eh-it was okay) Then took this picture when we got home.

Ethan-7 months
Aly-19 months
Aaron-3 years
Kezalee- 5 years
Ashlyn- 5 years
Chandler- 7 years

KEZALEE

I just wanted to wish my little girl a Happy Birthday! She turned 5 on the 15th.  I can't believe how time flies.  She was such a sweet little baby.  She only weighed 5 lbs 13 oz at birth and had a full head of CuRlY hair. (yes, it is as straight as can be now).  She has always had a very dominant personality and knows what she wants and is determined to get it! I know that her teenage years will not be dull! Keza loves gymnastics and is my most althetic child so far.  She gives me the best kisses and has a great singing voice!  I am so glad that she is in our family!
WE love you Kezalee!

Puke

It has been a while since my last post thanks to the nasty flu bug that has been circulating around our house! It started the first week in January and I finally finished us off Yesterday!
It all started when the kids went to play at a friends house and upon picking them up the mom preceeded to tell me they had had the flu all weekend. I hoped we would be able to avoid it, but no such luck. A few nights later Chandler is pukeing his guts out. I must say that I so love that he can make it to the bathroom (even in the middle of the night!) and take care of himself. After 3 days and all of the kids taking their turns I was sure we were though the worst of it and Kent and I had managed to miss it! Chandler made it to the first day of school after the Holidays but only lasted 2 days before he came home with the flu, again! Don't we love public education. This time Kent and I were not so lucky and we both managed to get it.
The night before the kids got sick we had our friends from Rigby over-the Hernandez family. We haven't seen them since we moved and we had so much fun. There son was so funny and kept following Chandler around and calling him Timmy. Unfortunatley we are spreaders of Germs and Hailey managed to get the ucky bug too. (proably didn't help that she was using Keza's lip gloss) So sorry Jessica!

Please do not worry-- we are now bug free and I am a tad obsessed about disinfecting my house when ever some one in our famiy is sick. So all is clear. I am just glad it is over.

CHRISTMAS!

I hope that you all had a GREAT Christmas
We had a fun time in Star Valley at my parent's home. Christmas Eve we
had a live Nativity preformed by my kids and my little sister. (Very small cast)

Christmas morning was a blast. Of course the best part is watching the kids. They are so great.
Everything Kezalee got she would say "Thank you so much! This is JUST what I wanted"
We had a great day surrounded by family. All of my siblings were there at one time during the day. Jodi and Bobby were only there via webcam, but we still got to see them!
Kent spoiled me with more Willow Tree figurines and lots of crafty stuff (he shopped at Porters!), I got him the XBOX 360 game he wanted (against my better judgement) and my parents got us a campchef! We had fun playing in ALL the snow we got. I love having a white Christmas. My family is the best and I am so grateful for all that Heavenly Father has blessed us with.

LET IT SNOW!!!!

CHANDLER

I just wanted to with Chandler a Happy Birthday!  He turned 7 years old on the 3rd!  I can't believe he will be getting baptized next year.  He is such a sweet boy and had always been a big helper.  When  Chandler was born he only weighed 4 lbs 7 oz.  He has always been full of life and found ways to entertain himself.  When he was a toddler he was always getting into something.  (Rolls of tiolet paper, eggs, water)  He is a very sentimental child and loved to collect things.  He is really into science right now and learning about historyand ARMY  I am so happy to have Chandler in my life.  We love you!

IF you can guess what the cake is- you have a great imagination.
