Happy 8th Anniversary Babe!

Kent and I celebrated 8 years on Monday, February 16th! I can't believe how time flies. It has been an adventure to say the least and we never have a dull moment. Kent was so sweet and planned a night to Destinations Inn in the Athens room. We have stayed here before and it is such a fun place. He surprised me- Booked the room and got his sister to watch our kids. ( Thanks so much DeAun) After we dropped the kids off we went to Iggy's for dinner then enjoyed a kidless relaxing night to ourselves! Thanks babe, you are the best~ Love ya!

I have been trying to scan our wedding pictures??? Someone help me!

Happy Valentines

Well I hope that you all had a great Holiday weekend! We did! Valentines has never been a huge thing for us because it is so close to our Annivesary, but we still take advantage of any opportunity to CeLeBrAtE! We decided to have my brothers that go to school at BYU-I and their significant others over for dinner. Kent and I did the cooking since we figured we could make steak and shrimp so much cheaper for 6 adults then going out. We had so much fun! I am glad that My siblings are growing up and getting families of their own and we can hang out!
Adam and Natalie and their cute daughter McKayla

I want to officially congratulate Ryan-- He is getting married to Heather on May 20th in the Bountiful Temple. She is so cute and so much fun. She will be a great addition to our family. Plus the second southerner to join the Bakers. She is from Arkansas!

An Apple a day!

Just in case I didn't have enough to do... I now work at Apple Athletic Club. Kent wanted a membership and I didn't want to pay for one. So I am working at the Youth Activity Center
as a trade for a family membership. Apple has a lot to offer. Our kids have memberships and so they have unlimited access to the pool! I also get employee discount on all of the activities,
including swimming lessons. (Hooray) Kent is enjoying working out and I am taking advantage of the water aerobics. It is actually pretty fun- even if I am the YOUNGEST one there! My Chiropractor said if that it would be the best for my hip- or its a hip replacement by 40!

They are looking for more people to work in the YAC if you are interested.

Six kids- Seven and under!

Well I finally have surfaced after taking care of Shari's kids for 4 days. A TON of diapers later (it is amazing how many diapers 3 kids use) and lots of snacks later we are still here. We had a great time-but more importantly everyone is alive and well fed!  It just goes to show that it can be done.  It really wasn't that hard, I just learned that taking care of 6 small children FORCES you to have a schedule. I actually got a lot accomplished while they were here.  We even managed a trip to the library with all of us!  I am glad that I was able to help out such a good friend and now  I am looking forward to our weekend away!

When Dave and Shari got back we took all the kids to Red Robin (eh-it was okay) Then took this picture when we got home.

Ethan-7 months
Aly-19 months
Aaron-3 years
Kezalee- 5 years
Ashlyn- 5 years
Chandler- 7 years

KEZALEE

I just wanted to wish my little girl a Happy Birthday! She turned 5 on the 15th.  I can't believe how time flies.  She was such a sweet little baby.  She only weighed 5 lbs 13 oz at birth and had a full head of CuRlY hair. (yes, it is as straight as can be now).  She has always had a very dominant personality and knows what she wants and is determined to get it! I know that her teenage years will not be dull! Keza loves gymnastics and is my most althetic child so far.  She gives me the best kisses and has a great singing voice!  I am so glad that she is in our family!
WE love you Kezalee!

Puke

It has been a while since my last post thanks to the nasty flu bug that has been circulating around our house! It started the first week in January and I finally finished us off Yesterday!
It all started when the kids went to play at a friends house and upon picking them up the mom preceeded to tell me they had had the flu all weekend. I hoped we would be able to avoid it, but no such luck. A few nights later Chandler is pukeing his guts out. I must say that I so love that he can make it to the bathroom (even in the middle of the night!) and take care of himself. After 3 days and all of the kids taking their turns I was sure we were though the worst of it and Kent and I had managed to miss it! Chandler made it to the first day of school after the Holidays but only lasted 2 days before he came home with the flu, again! Don't we love public education. This time Kent and I were not so lucky and we both managed to get it.
The night before the kids got sick we had our friends from Rigby over-the Hernandez family. We haven't seen them since we moved and we had so much fun. There son was so funny and kept following Chandler around and calling him Timmy. Unfortunatley we are spreaders of Germs and Hailey managed to get the ucky bug too. (proably didn't help that she was using Keza's lip gloss) So sorry Jessica!

Please do not worry-- we are now bug free and I am a tad obsessed about disinfecting my house when ever some one in our famiy is sick. So all is clear. I am just glad it is over.
