Happy Birthday "Big Hunk!"

 Today was Kent's Birthday.  I love this guy soooo much.  I thought It would be fun to put a few pictures from when he was *ahem* younger!  Isn't he so handsome? For his birthday I made a giant Hamburger cake.  The kids got a kick out of it.  

Thanks babe for being such a great Husband and Father, but most importantly... my best friend!

 

Terrific Twos!

This little fella is MY baby! He is so cute and we love having him in our family. I can't believe that two years has already flown by. We love this little man so much.

First day of School First day of School!

Aren't these kiddos the cutest. They are starting their 3rd year at White Pine Charter School. Chandler is in 4th grade. His teacher is Mrs. Day again this year. We are glad she moved up with the 3rd graders. Kezalee is in 2nd grade and had Mrs. Treat, the same teacher Chan had in 2nd grade. Time is flying.

Cabin Fever!

We had a great time in Island Park with our friends the Griggs. I love going to this cabin. This is our first time going in the summer(much warmer) and it was so beautiful! The weather was perfect, the water was fabulous and the kids had a blast. How cool are Moose in the yard? They were everywhere. I even had my first attempt at water skiing, but alas could not get up on the skis. I kept wimping out and was afraid of hurting my hip, but now I can say that I have tried. Of course Kent who hasn't skied in YEARS, got up no problem. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back.

We are Family! All my brothers, sisters and ME!

We had my family Reunion the end of July. It was great to see all of my siblings except Tyson who is still on his mission in Michigan. We had fun crafting, playing games and building a true, blue redneck water slide.

It's Raining!

Deegan had some fun after a big rainstorm we had. Isn't he handsome?

Lagoon: FUN IN THE SUN

This year we skipped our usual 4th of July tradition going to the Idaho Falls fireworks show to go to Utah and take our kids to their first amusement park experience. We spent the weekend with Kent's awesome sister Lisa who lives in Layton. We had a fun BBQ on the 4th with her and Kent's other sister Kara and her family.

July 5,2011 *ORANGE DAY*

We had so much fun at Lagoon. The weather was perfect the first day and for the first 2 or 3 hours we didn't even wait in lines. Our kids had a blast. Our good friends the Willis' came with us. I was a lame-o and didn't get much pictures and what I did get was only with my phone. But lets be honest, when you are in an amusement park trying to not lose 4 small children, pictures are the last thing on your mind. I was also a crazy mom and we were color coded. We did get quite a few looks.

July 6th,2011 * GREEN DAY*

We decided to take advantage of the deal Lagoon was doing for back to back days.

The second day we were a little more exhausted, but we still had fun. It was hotter so we spend a little time at Lagoona Beach, but I have to say we were not that impressed. The kids loved the rides but I was surprised how my equilibrium has changed as an adult. I still loved the roller coasters but it took me a lot longer to bounce back. So my favorite ride? The ladybug in kiddy land. No joke! It was a blast :)
I love my little family and can't wait for another fun day away!
