Pine Wood Derby

 This year Chandler decided to move away from the army theme and go with his next best love.... FOOD!  Chandler picked what he wanted and Kent made it helped.  I think it looks awesome!! It was also fast and did pretty well.  Sad that this is Chandlers last year. :(


 

A week for Love

This is the week for Love around our house.

Valentines Day is always a fun holiday. We had pink pancakes for breakfast with heart shaped banana slices. Kent surprised me at work with a Rose and lunch. *we don't usually celebrate valentines day as a couple so I was really surprised!* For dinner Kent made the family a yummy shrimp scampi dinner. I LOVE my family :)

Our Anniversary is on the 16th. (which is why we don't generally celebrate Valentines Day) We have been married 11 years. I just have to tell you that this guy is married is awesome! For our anniversary we had decided to just go to dinner because funds have been tight. So my wonderful friend Shara said she would watch our munchkins while we went to Olive Garden. Little did I know that Kent had been putting money aside and booked a room for us at Destinations Inn. We have been here several times before and it is our favorite place to stay in Idaho Falls. He got us the Hawaii Room which we loved! We reminisced (and wished we were there) about our honeymoon in Hawaii ALL those years ago. I am just still amazed that Kent was able to surprise me, because I generally hate surprises and always catch on. I did love this one and love that he loves me! Kent and I have not had an easy marriage and have had to work at it A LOT, but I am grateful that we have both made our marriage a priority. It seems like everyday I hear of another one of our friends separating. It breaks my heart. I am just thankful for a wonderful husband and our commitment to each other! Happy Anniversary Babe. :)

Baptism

We are very proud that Kezalee made the decision to be baptized. It was a special day and we appreciate the family that came. My mom and little sister were kind enough to sing with me and my girls for the musical number. I love music and I love it even more when I get to share it with family. I am grateful for a great husband that was able to preform this special ordinance for our daughter!

It was a very special day for a very special girlie.

Eight is Great!

Kezalee is 8! Next time I blink she will be 18! She is such a wonderful girl! She is definitely full of drama and keeps it lively around here, but we love our sweetheart!

Happy Birthday "Big Hunk!"

 Today was Kent's Birthday.  I love this guy soooo much.  I thought It would be fun to put a few pictures from when he was *ahem* younger!  Isn't he so handsome? For his birthday I made a giant Hamburger cake.  The kids got a kick out of it.  

Thanks babe for being such a great Husband and Father, but most importantly... my best friend!
